robotTUNER technical partner province of Groningen

The three northern provinces Groningen, Friesland and Drenthe signed an agreement to study the possibilities of self driving vehicles for public transport. Because of the costs public transport facilities decrease in the small villages. Autonomous transport could be a solution to keep the service level high. In the period of 3 years several projects will start to evaluate the possibilities of autonomous transport on different locations. robotTUNER got the assignment for the technical management of the projects. In 2017 we start with the first two projects in Seaports and Loppersum. At Seaports Groningen the EZ10 of EasyMile wil be tested in various conditions. At Loppersum we will test the possibilities of 5G for remote control of self driving vehicles.
